From healthcare to water rights, education to governance — six pillars of work addressing the root causes of vulnerability in Nigerian communities.
Providing free medical interventions—including cleft lip and palate repairs—for children whose families cannot afford care. We coordinate with surgical teams, hospitals, and health agencies to restore smiles and futures. Our outreach also includes coordinated assessments of healthcare facilities across all 17 LGAs of Enugu State to identify gaps and advocate for resources.
Nigeria's leading water rights movement, driving legal reform, infrastructure rehabilitation, and community sensitisation. Key outcomes include the historic passage of Enugu State Water Law, a declaration of state of emergency in the water sector, and rehabilitation of the 9th Mile water facility to serve 120 million cubic litres per day. We work in partnership with UNICEF, WaterAid, and IRC WASH Netherlands.
Skills acquisition training in agribusiness, cosmetics production, food processing, and nutrition. Financial inclusion initiatives through Stanbic ITC and POS empowerment programs. Voter education campaigns and advocacy for women's inclusion in governance and politics. Facilitation of radio and TV programs addressing gender-based violence and human trafficking.
Integrity Debate Competitions in secondary schools across Enugu State, partnering with ICPC and the Post Primary School Management Board. Anti-drug and anti-cultism campaigns in partnership with POCACOV. Programs targeting youth civic engagement, ethical leadership, and awareness of the consequences of corruption and crime.
Championing the rights of persons with disabilities through policy advocacy, direct empowerment, and community awareness. Achievements include facilitation of Enugu State's Disability Law, empowerment of 18 visually impaired persons with white canes (2023), and ongoing inclusion of disability considerations across all foundation programs.
Evidence-based advocacy that has translated into landmark state laws and emergency declarations. Accountability training for Local Government Council Chairmen and heads. Human rights advocacy including securing the release of Nigerians wrongly detained abroad. International partnership development with global water and governance bodies.
Our programs are delivered in partnership with government bodies, international organisations, and civil society networks.
